  • Consultation on Growth in Oxfordshire – Deadline 27th May

    Oxfordshire is threatened with an overwhelming 100,000 new homes, 85,000 new jobs, and a population increase of a quarter of a million people. We have one chance to comment before the Local Enterprise Partnership finalises its plans for this massive and, we believe, unsustainable growth.   • Sustainable Wallingford joins Need Not Greed Oxfordshire Coalition

    Sustainable Wallingford has voted at their AGM to join Need Not Greed Oxfordshire. The growth strategy for Oxfordshire proposes 100,000 new houses by 2031, equivalent to two new cities the size of Oxford; plus 85,000 new jobs, and at least 200,000 more people, roughly a 30% increase in our population.
