Results of Questionnaire:
What Do You Really Think About Climate Change?

This set of results is based on returns received between Aug 12th and Dec 12th 2008; they separately cover those from both Wallingford UK and Wallingford Seattle, both of which replied to the same questionnaire.

The main results are the numeric ones, which are presented below in chart form with both UK and US compared in the same charts.  No significant difference between the two country's results was apparent.

People were also asked for their views in four areas, for which many responses were received.  To help understand these responses, they have been further divided into a number of categories; this sub-division is inevitably subjective but it is nevertheless hoped that it will increase focus on topics that matter to everyone.  These written responses can be opened below for each country separately.

The survey is a snapshot of local views. It is not and does not claim to be based on a systematic cross section of the population of Wallingford and surrounding villages. But despite this limitation it does seem to show that many Wallingfordians are, however tentatively, moving towards more sustainable lifestyles.
