What is Sustainable Wallingford?
The aim of Sustainable Wallingford is to build a more sustainable town and
community in Wallingford and its surrounding area.
The group was formed in 2003 by people living in and around the small
Oxfordshire town of Wallingford. Since it was founded, Sustainable Wallingford
has become well known locally for a range of activities that involve local
people and raise awareness of the need to reduce the demands we make on the
resources of our planet.
Sustainable Wallingford has around 35 active members and is in regular contact
with over 300 local residents who attend our events and receive
our newsletter. We also work in partnership with local government, schools,
hospitals, food producers and businesses to promote sustainability.
You can find out more about our activities on this website. If what you read
inspires you to get involved, please contact us.
