Swap Shops

What are they?                                                                 Pictures

Swap Shops are events to encourage the passing on of items which are clean, safe and genuinely reusable, once you have finished with them. They were started in 2003 and are held about four times per year in the Regal Centre in Wallingford. Everyone is welcome to bring things for reuse, or to take things away; it is not necessary to bring anything before you can take anything. No money changes hands.

At the same events we also collect items that can be recycled but cannot be put in your green box, such as computers, aluminium foil and Tetra Paks (see publicity prior to each event for the complete list of what can be taken, as it changes from time to time).
