Stay Active 50+ volunteer gardening session with Sustainable Wallingford at Wallingford Community Allotment

A regular session during summer and autumn to sow and grow together, to help keep the allotment looking amazing and productive. No special knowledge of plants or how to grow them, we learn together and keep active with others.

Come along and learn new skills or share your food growing knowledge and sustainability ideas with other volunteers, whilst getting gentle exercise and socialising.

It’s a great opportunity to enjoy being outdoors in nature, helping to shape a local community green space producing healthy food for all to share.

We’ll provide drinks and shelter. No need to book, just drop in. Access on foot or by bicycle. The entrance is at (W3W) ///google.feuds.dime (follow the sign along the fence to the Wallingford community allotment plot 47a)

Buses – the 33 and 33A to Didcot & Abingdon go along Wantage Road and stop at Fir Tree Avenue. It is roughly an hourly service. More info here
